If you would like to learn both AI and PD, there is only one price for the week of training. Most students like to be taught in both skilled areas.

1. AI (Artificial Insemination)

Course duration: 4 days start 9am-4pm

Costs: $550.00 daily rate plus GST. Total $2,420.00

Inclusions: training, cattle, manuals, Ai supplies, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and refreshments Supplied. Certificate will be given after passing all practical and theory tests.

2. Pregnancy Diagnosis (manual pregnancy courses)

Course duration: 4 days start 9am-4pm

Costs: $550 daily rate Plus GST. Total $2,420.00

​

Inclusions: training, cattle, manuals, Pregnancy test supplies, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and refreshments Supplied. Certificate will given after passing all practical and theory tests.

3. Refresher Courses (or extra day of training if needed)

Course duration: 1 day

Costs: $550 plus GST. Total $605.00

Inclusions: Training, cattle, AI supplies, manuals, Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea supplied.

Dates: held in conjunction with course dates above.

4. Ultrasound Courses

Ultrasound courses will be part of the Manual pregnancy courses that week, an additional week with me in the field can be arranged for up to 2,000 cattle scanned.

This is a one on one training out in the field, Cost for this is $2,800.00 plus GST. Total $3,080.00

5. Embryology Training

Course Duration : 4 days Start 9am-4pm.

Cost: $600 Daily Rate. Total $3000

 

Embryology training will be fitted into the bovine training courses, due to the palpation experience needed. Inclusions: implanting and flushing, ovary and organ palpation, Grading, sorting, Freezing and epidural/Spinal Block training. Embryo transfer equipment supplied for the week. morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and refreshments supplied. There are around 80-90 breeding cattle on the property, pregnant and non-pregnant all the time, the farm is also used for a commercial farming enterprise. There are a range of cattle: feisian, jersey, angus, simintale, specalpark,friesian angus cross, also friesian simintale cross. A good mix for learning these skills. There are also heifers trained to learn with also.

Cash, check or direct debit to be made prior to the courses (Invoice will be emailed), as there are many people on the list, there will be a 100% deposit on the payment prior to booking a spot in the courses.

Various options in Hamilton which is 15 minutes from the training centre The Central Hotel (03 5572-2899) has rooms for $50 per night and is located in the centre of Hamilton (Gray Street) or better quality accommodation if you google other motels also B&B places.
